Student Outcome Data
Student Achievement Data
The Council on Academic Accreditation’s standard 1.9 requires that the program provide information about the program and the institution to students and to the public that is current, accurate, and readily available. One aspect of that information is student outcome measures. The data that must be available to the public are program completion rates and Praxis II examination pass rates for each of the three (3) most recently completed academic years (considering summer, fall, spring semesters). The VSU Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is very proud of its students’ performances on these benchmarks.
Program Completion Rates
Each year, approximately 60 to 75 students enter the M.Ed. program in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Students begin the program with an option to complete within 5 or 6 semesters or may change to the 6-semester program. Completion rates below indicate students who completed within 5 or 6 semesters.
