Students, Staff, & Faculty: We take cash or check for payment.

Pay via Chart String: Department Heads, Deans, or Department Secretaries can complete the  Annual Departmental Authorization List each fiscal year. This list is what we use to reference back to for who can make requests that can be charged against a departmental chart string.

How to submit a request? 

Complete the Poster Request Form and we will get back with you on the estimate or follow-up clarifications. If you are still having trouble sending in your request, email us at media@valdosta.edu for support. We will respond within a 1-business day period.

We split the cost of supply and service. Supplies are considered materials like DVD, CD, and other tangeble items sold. These items will have a sales tax. Service charges will not be taxed. A service charge can occur for hours spent on the job or for the amount of duplications ran using a duplication tower. See below for specific cost options.

*We can email a digital copy using OneDrive at no extra cost after payment is received.

Copyright work that is requested for upload to D2L for Streaming for a class offered at VSU will need to be reviewed and approved by our team, as well as, the copyright owner under strict guidance using the TEACH Act guidelines. See our page for Streaming to D2L. 

Materials Price
PLA Filament .20 per gram

Note: Patrons may choose to bring in their own Verbatim PLA filament to reduce the cost of 3D printing. The cost will be based on a service charge for printing due to wear and tear on the 3D printer and maintenance costs instead of the supply cost listed above. The service cost will be 10 cents per gram used. The patron will need to meet with NMC staff before the job can be reserved to assess the purpose and possibility of doing the job. Non-VSU affiliated members are not permitted to use the 3D Printer as this is a student funded area. Non-VSU affiliated members may explore the Valdosta Public Library.

When printing a poster: 

Decide on your desired print size, if you want it laminated and if you want the poster mounted to white or black new/used foam board. We are limited to 24" width on lamination and confined to a max of 24x36 inches on foam board available for spray mounting. If mounting, we need the poster to be laminated if not using photo paper.
