Equipment Loan Policy
The NMC offers a diverse range of over 700 items for circulation, aiming to fulfill the media-related service and general technology needs to currently enrolled students, staff, and faculty.

Loan Process:
When checking out equipment, you become a "borrower" under our free loan services. Ensure compliance with our loan policy (refer to the Borrower Agreement Request Form for full policy).
Borrower Agreement Request Form: Complete the form on BLAZERLINK to request to reserve NMC equipment. The NMC operates strictly on a reservation process using this form for both renewal and reservation for pickup.
Approval depends on:
- Good standing with the Library (no fees or fines).
- Availability of the requested equipment.
- Completeness of the form.
- Current enrollment as a VSU student, staff, or faculty.
Pickup is at the NMC on the 1st floor of Odum Library. Equipment not picked up an hour after the designated time will be forfeited. After this point you may place in a new request to choose a better time for pickup.
Renewals: Some items are eligible for renewal (up to no more than 2 times). These items will be laptops and laptop peripherials. Submit the request form before the due date and time for consideration. If not approved, you must return the equipment on time to avoid late fees.
Returns: Equipment can be returned by others, but only the approved person can pick up equipment. Have your VSU 1-Card or State ID during pickup.

Check your My Library Account for concerns such as late fees or overdue equipment. Bookmark the link to view materials loaned from the NMC. Pickup requests and renewal requests are managed through the Borrower Agreement Request Form.
- Borrower Agreement Request Form - 1-week loan for equipment selected on form. Open to all currently enrolled students and employed faculty/staff at VSU.
- Faculty/Staff Laptop Request Form - For faculty teaching online, attending conferences, and remote learning content creation. Use of this form allows for no more than a full-semester loan of just a laptop if approved.

Only late fees can be paid online.For replacement or damage fees, pay in person or by mail.
Paying In Person: Fines can be paid at the NMC in cash or check. Starter checks are not accepted.
