This map is a term-by-term sample course schedule. The milestones listed below each year are designed to keep you on course to graduate in four years. A sample schedule is provided as a general guideline to help you build a schedule each term. Your courses must be selected with your advisor to satisfy all core curriculum and state, lab science, and multicultural requirements. Refer to the Undergraduate Catalog for the most current curriculum.

Milestones: ≥2.0 GPA. By the end of semester 5, you should have: Take one or two major electives to investigate the range of English studies and committed to a track. Investigate Sigma Tau Delta (3.0 in English), the Academic Support Center, or other opportunities for campus involvement and resume building. Submit graduation application. By the end of year 3, you should have: Decided if you want to pursue a minor and if so, in which program. Visited the Office of Career Opportunities, the College of Education Advising Center, and begin to plan for life after VSU. Completed 90 credit hours.
