Funds received and managed through Valdosta State University Foundation support the activities of Odum Library in preparing our students for successful careers and lifelong learning through programming, scholarly activities, and more.  

 

How You Can Support the Library

Financial Donations

All monetary donations are processed through the VSU Foundation, Inc.

10235 - Library 
Used where the need is greatest, including supplementing marketing and outreach, professional development, and other needs.  

10234 - Library Archives Fund
Used where the need is greatest, including providing resources that support the processing, preservation, and digitization of archival collections.

 

Give Now

  • Under Designation select “Other” and enter the fund number and name you want to support 
    • Enter “10235 – Library” to give to Odum Library  
    • Enter “10234 – Library Archives Fund” to give to Archives & Special Collections 

Planned Giving

Consider including Odum Library in your will or estate plan. Contact the Valdosta State University Foundation to explore planned giving options. 

 

Donation of Materials 

Odum Library welcomes gifts that support the instructional and research programs of the University. The Library reserves the right to make a final decision on whether to add a donated item or not. Please see our Gifts page for brief guidance on excluded items and links to additional resources. The Library does not conduct appraisals. 

Archives & Special Collections welcomes historical materials that can be used to support student learning through first-hand and experiential opportunities. To learn more please see the Policies and Procedures for Archives & Special Collections.
