Target Population: Rising fifth through seventh graders

Synopsis: Participants will have the opportunity to create and program Lego robots; design animations and games in Scratch, a programming language developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and more.

Target Population: High school seniors looking to play at the next level

Synopsis: This camp is designed for high school football players who seek to learn the advanced fundamentals and techniques used to be effective and successful in their position. Participants will compete and test their skills in a variety of agility drills and competitions while also being evaluated by the Valdosta State Football coaching staff.

Synopsis: Players will learn the techniques of the modern hitter, including the correct grip and setup, proper bat path, and explosive lower half mechanics. Players will also learn the proper fundamentals for throwing and taking ground and fly balls as well as proper pitching techniques.

Target Population: Girls entering grades 9-12

Cost: $100, includes lunch

Synopsis: This camp is designed to improve the skills of players wishing to play at the next level. Participants will utilize Lady Blazer practice drills that stress advanced ball handling and passing skills, offense, defense, and game control for point guards, shooting guards, and off guard/small forwards.  Drill work will include post moves and countermoves, post positioning, post passing, body balance, post defense, strength and conditioning, and more.

Synopsis: This camp is designed to improve the confidence and knowledge of middle school basketball players through a series of videos, lectures, and drills. The event will end with a question and answer session with the Lady Blazer Basketball coaching staff and student-athletes.
