VSU Hosts "Meeting Technology Demands in Healthcare" Luncheon Thursday, Oct. 9
VALDOSTA - Valdosta State University will host a luncheon for health care administration professionals in the area from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 in the Student Union Ballroom C.
Sponsored by the Langdale College of Business Administration and Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), “Meeting Technology Demands in Healthcare: How HIEs and Analytics Are Impacting our Future” includes a panel discussion with chief information officers from area hospitals. Panelists include Bill Bishop, CIO of Colquitt Regional Medical Center; Bob Foster, CIO of South Georgia Medical Center; and Guy McAllister, CIO of Tift Regional Medical Center.
The event will be moderated by Chip Strosnider, director of business technology planning and portfolio management with Kaiser Permanente and president of the Georgia Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
The event is open to all health care administrators and students. Registration is $30 for ACHE or HIMSS members, $20 for students and $40 for general admission. To register, visit http://gahe.ache.org/x49.xml .
