VALDOSTA — Valdosta State University recently celebrated the grand opening of its latest campus-based casual eatery, Einstein Bros. Bagels. It is situated on the ground floor of the Health Sciences and Business Administration Building and is home to the university’s first Coca-Cola Freestyle drink machine.
“It’s fantastic to have another Einstein Bros. Bagels on campus,” explained Allison D. Mitchell, marketing director for V-State Dining.
VSU opened its very first Einstein Bros. Bagels location a few years ago in the James L. and Dorothy H. Dewar College of Education.
“Our newest location at the Health Sciences and Business Administration Building on the VSU [Rea and Lillian Steele] North Campus is [a] full-scale [restaurant]. Any item that you see on the Einstein’s website you will see on our menu,” she added.
“With the … Coca-Cola [Freestyle] machine, Einstein’s adds that extra pizzazz to the newness of the Health Sciences and Business Administration Building — and we’re excited to be a part of the North Campus family.”
Einstein Bros. Bagels is one of three independent quick casual restaurant brands owned by Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc. The others are Noah’s New York Bagels and Manhattan Bagel. The company boasts more than 800 locations in 40 states and Washington, D.C., as well as a dough production facility.
