VSU Now Offers Wireless Printing
VALDOSTA – Valdosta State University students, faculty, and staff can now print wirelessly to campus lab printers from their personally-owned computers. This solution saves time and allows easier printer selection.
The wireless printing functionality is available for both PC and Mac OS (10.6 or higher) computers. Users simply need to install the appropriate print driver on their computers; and once connected to VSU Wireless, they can begin printing to Xerox card swipe printers positioned in various locations across campus.
For more information, visit smartpass.valdosta.edu/printing or http://blog.valdosta.edu/it . The IT Helpdesk can also be reached at (229) 245-4357 or www.valdosta.edu/helpdesk. The Helpdesk is located on the second floor of Odum Library and is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
This initiative is supported by the Division of Information Technology in its effort to achieve VSU’s strategic goal to utilize mobile and online technologies to enhance the VSU experience.
