VSU Hosts Employee Appreciation Day March 14

VALDOSTA-- Valdosta State University will host Employee Appreciation Day 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., March 14, in the Student Union ballrooms. The event is sponsored by VSU’s Council on Staff Affairs (COSA) and the President’s Office.

“This day is set aside to show appreciation to all staff and faculty here at VSU that we appreciate all of their service to make this university a great success,” said Regina Lee, COSA chair.

Faculty and staff will be served a Southern style meal featuring pulled pork, barbecue chicken, baked beans, potato salad, corn on the cob, and rolls.

Black Crow Media will provide the entertainment throughout the day. The event will also feature door prizes and informational exhibits from local businesses including South Health District, Valdosta Chiropractic and Rehab, Anytime Fitness, Southern Vein & Laser, Motion Dance Studios, Factor X Fitness, South Georgia Travel, Academy Sports, Care Medical Center, and Gander Mountain.
