Centennial Committee Searches for Traditions

VALDOSTA - The Centennial Steering Committee for Valdosta State University is asking for assistance in compiling a list of old university traditions, myths and memories.

Everyone is asked to submit traditions and stories to the committee, which plans to use the ideas to strengthen the centennial celebration, establish more lasting traditions, preserve memories and connect the past, present and future.

Please send a description, along with time period and contact information, to Jennifer Tanner, Communications Specialist and committee member, by e-mail, jltanner@valdosta.edu, or mail, c/o Communications Unit, 1500 N. Patterson Street, Valdosta, GA 31698. Committee members would like to hear these memories and traditions as soon as possible.
