VALDOSTA - Valdosta State University President Ronald M. Zaccari
has appointed Kristina M. Cragg, Ph.D., as Assistant to the
President for Strategic Research and Analysis.
At VSU, Cragg will provide leadership for institutional

coordinating the University’s accreditation and reaffirmation
process. Cragg reports directly to the President and is a member of
the Cabinet, Budget Advisory Council and University Council.
Cragg has extensive statistical reporting and analysis skills
within higher education. Most recently, she served as a consultant

efficiency and effectiveness of higher education institutions on a
variety of issues including student retention, enrollment
management, human resources, classification and compensation,
student housing and strategic planning.
In addition to her work with MGT of America, Inc., Cragg was a
policy analyst for the Council for Education Policy Research and
Improvement and conducted research at the national and state level
for distribution to legislators, educators and the public. She
served as program coordinator for the Florida State University
Certificate in Institutional Research Program, which offers
post-master’s courses in institutional research theory and
practices, higher education administration and educational

responsible for developing course content, recruiting, advising,
and conducting research on institutional research and related
topics.
“I am pleased to join Valdosta State University and the VSU
family,” Cragg said. “I look forward to working with the campus
community in providing data and information that will contribute to
toward VSU’s continued success.”

master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, and doctorate
in Higher Educational Policy, Planning, and Analysis, all from
