the university’s front lawn.
The event will be student run and open to the entire VSU community.

tent. Cancer survivors are encouraged to walk in the opening
ceremony starting at 7pm. Sponsored by the Office of Student Life,
a student relay committee has set a goal of $50,000.00.
Approximately $20,000.00 has been recorded to date.
Relay for Life is the signature event for the American Cancer
Society. It offers communities an opportunity to participate in the
fight against cancer through an overnight relay event. Teams of
people from all walks of life enjoy the events that raise awareness
of cancer prevention as well as funds for cancer research.
