VSU looks at Faith Based Organizations
Dr. Shani Gray of Valdosta State University's Sociology,
Anthropology, and Criminal Justice Department will present "Faith
Based Organizations: What Are They and What Do They Do?" on
Thursday, March 30, 2006, at 4 p.m., in the Hugh C. Bailey Science
Center Room 1011.
The seminar will look into the relationship between FBOs and social
services, specifically those within criminal justice agencies,
using data collected from 128 FBOs in 11 Indiana Counties. This
seminar is part of a weekly science series taking place at VSU
through the end of April.
Admission is free and open to the general public. For more
