VSU Homecoming 2004: Torching the Tigers
Homecoming 2004 at Valdosta State University is definitely going
to be one to remember. The week of October 11 - 16 is jam-packed
with great activities for students and alumni, giving the entire
VSU community an opportunity to join in on a very healthy dose of
school spirit.
?Our Homecoming Committee, comprised of students and staff, decided
on the ?Torching the Tigers? theme because we thought it was
exciting and would generate positive school spirit in the VSU
students,? said Robin Vickery, Director of Student Life. ?We
brought back many activities from previous years because our
students really enjoyed them before, and we hope they look forward
to the great festivities this year.?
Monday is the beginning of Homecoming 2004. The long-awaited kick
off event will start at 6 P.M. on the VSU front lawn. The
celebration will have blow-ups, caricatures, a mechanical bull,
