VSU Plans Summer Commencement Ceremonies

Valdosta State University will hold the Summer 2004 commencement ceremony on the morning of Saturday, July 31, in the P.E. Complex on Baytree Road. Approximately 670 candidates have applied to graduate.

The commencement begins at 10 a.m and will include undergraduate and graduate students from the College of the Arts, College of Arts & Sciences, Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration, College of Education, and the College of Nursing.

Banner Carrier names are Petia Gentcheva Ivanova, College of the Arts; Elena Paige Bennett, College of Arts and Sciences; Roy Herbert Suberly, Jr., Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration; Dianna L. Ray (Lindsey), College of Education; and Sandra Davis, Graduate School. These individuals recorded the highest overall GPA for each college.

The public is invited to attend the commencement ceremony. Guests with special attention or seating needs should contact the Access Office by calling 229-245-2498 (voice) or 229-219-1348 (TTY).
