MBA program revamped for fall
VSU's Master of Business Administration (MBA) has been revised to
better serve the needs of working students. Starting Fall 2000, it
will be a 30 hour program made up of eight required courses and two
out of four electives. These changes are expected to increase the
flexibility of this part-time evening program, according to Dr.
Jackie Eastman, director of the program.
Additionally, the College of Business Administration will begin
offering a collaborative WebMBA program with four other Georgia
universities starting this fall. This WebMBA program will be in
addition to the part-time on-campus evening program. The Georgia
WebMBA Consortium includes VSU, Georgia Southern University,
Kennesaw State University, the State University of West Georgia and
Georgia College and State University. All of the Consortium members
currently offer MBA programs accredited by the AACSB-the
International Association for Management Education.
