Regional Social Science Fair 2000

The Regional Social Science Fair was held at the University Center of Valdosta State University on Saturday, Feb. 19. The Valdosta region includes schools in the surrounding 17 counties. Participants in grades 5-12 participate in school fairs. Winners of school fairs compete in regional competition. The best eight projects from the region go on to state competition, to be held April 15, 2000, at Clayton State College and University in Morrow. Class I winners are from grades 5 and 6, Class II winners are from grades 7 and 8.
