Public Venue Forum Policy and Reservation Form

Valdosta State University embraces the value of free speech and provides numerous opportunities for free speech. To better facilitate the free exchange of ideas, VSU has designated the following highly visible area as the public forum on the VSU campus: Palms Quadrangle and stage. 

The Public Forum Venue is generally available for expressive activities from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am until 2:30 pm on Friday provided that the area has not been previously reserved.

Provisions for use of Public Forum Venue

1. There shall be no interference with the free flow of traffic nor the ingress and egress to buildings on campus.

2. There shall be no interruption of the orderly conduct of University classes or other University activities.

3. No commercial solicitations, campus sales, or fund-raising activities shall be undertaken that are not sponsored by authorized students or the University.

4. The person who makes the reservation shall be responsible for seeing that the area is left clean and in good order.
