Nominate Now for Chancellor's Awards
VALDOSTA - Nominations will be accepted for the second annual
Chancellor's Customer Service Awards until July 31, and all members
of the VSU community are invited to recognize that individual or
team that truly makes a difference at Valdosta State
University.
The best in customer services will be chosen in six categories,
including individual, team, leadership, call center/help desk,
process improvement and institution of the year. All nominations
must be based on activities that occurred between July 1, 2007 and
July 30, 2008; individuals must be employed full-time and not under
any disciplinary action. Selections will be made based on
consistent performance levels that meet or exceed expectations or
requirements.
Last year, the OASIS Center for Advising and First Year programs
was chosen as a gold level institution in the chancellor's awards
because of its efforts in serving more than 1.500 students through
the Freshman Year Experience and other programs. The team, which
works together to ensure student needs are met in a fast, friendly
and reliable manner, has successfully led many students to return
for advising time and time again.
VSU has many departments and individuals that provide exceptional
service and this is the perfect opportunity to give them the
