VSU�s Division of Social Work holds Career Day and Information Fair

Over 30 social service agencies from South Georgia will participate in the Social Work Career Day and Information Fair sponsored by Valdosta State University's Division of Social Work, on Friday, February 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the University Center.

Current and prospective Master of Social Work students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, from 10 a.m. through noon, and learn more about the field of social work and the educational preparation required for the vocation.

Lunch will be provided (reservations and payment of $8 in advance required) from noon to 1 p.m. for all faculty, students, field instructors, and guests. The information fair will follow, from 1 to 3 p.m.

All those interested in the social work career field are encouraged to attend. Advance registration�requested for the morning session and required for lunch�can be made by calling Regina Russell at 249-4864 or socialwork@valdosta.edu. Registration is not required for the information fair held in the afternoon.
