John B. Desselle
Atlanta Regional Admissions Counselor
I graduated in 2014 with a degree in speech communication and a minor in political science. I loved my time at VSU, because I was able to experience everything I had hoped to in college and more. As a member of the Honors College, I was given a strong academic challenge and personal attention from my professors. Outside of the Honors College, I served in leadership roles in the Student Government Association, the VSU Debate team, and a social fraternity. I was also able to conduct research with my professors and study abroad in Scotland, which helped me develop confidence when it comes to working with other business professionals. No matter the you path you choose while you’re here, my advice is to get involved in something you’re passionate about. Through involvement and hands-on learning, your college experience will be enriched and you’ll have what it takes to be you be successful after graduation!
